PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE

Armoured Innovation, together with our international partners, intend to quash the worldwide scourge and accompanying furore around explosives attacks against ATMs. Our objective is to relieve our South African and international (African, Eastern European and South American) ATM owners of the onerous and expensive headache of protecting isolated units across countries.

WHAT WE DO

Armoured Innovation’s primary product is an explosion safe exoskeleton ATM cage, known internationally as “NOCASH 409”. This ATM cage principally protects the safe cash contents from robbers, not only by withstanding explosions, but also any attempts at cutting, either by angle grinders or oxy-acytalene cutting torches, while its anchored mountings resist the removal of ATMs from their foundation, even by a truck and hydraulic crane, as can be seen in our test videos.
Armoured Innovation offers a very exciting armoured, mobile, electronically controlled, anti-lift smart vault for moving valuables, such as precious metals or cash by Cash-in-Transit companys.
A ground breaking innovation is our secure battery safe, an armoured vault not dissimilar to the ATM Cage, to prevent the theft of expensive battery back up capacity, typically from Cell Towers.
A considerable and escalating uptake of our easily fitted technology, is making a quantum difference for large banks and other ATM owners.

Orders for our new patented technology are already in excess of 5,000 units internationally and accelerating fast in Europe and the USA as ATM owners see the benefits of not only protecting their assets, but maybe more importantly, maintaining availability of their sites for customers.
Strategic revenue losses attributed to inoperable sites, can surpass initial cash loss and acquisition and logistics costs of replacements over a short period.
Losses of large sums of cash, loss of income when ATMs are destroyed, reputation damage and loss of customer goodwill, claims for damages and installation of replacement units, all add up to substantial lost opportunity and operations costs.


Safeguarding ATMs in peri-urban centres and small, isolated retailers is an astronomic cost and logistics challenge which causes a major headache for management responsible for upkeep and protection of ATM estates. This scourge is not limited to South Africa or any third world countries, but is on the increase worldwide as economies come under increasing pressure.

Over double the rated quantity of explosives, used to meet the international certificated rating, was employed for the purposes of our ATM protective exoskeleton test, which more than met the standards rates to protect ATM safes from unauthorised access by this means.

OUR STORY – (HISTORY)

Sun Tzu, author of ‘The Art of War’, advises that “in the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity.” He also stated that “Opportunities multiply as they are seized”. Sound familiar?

Sun Tzu is regarded as one of the greatest military strategists. His recognised best ancient strategies are studied in boardrooms and war rooms alike.

Similarly, South Africans are an innovative nation. Not only do we ‘export’our diverse crime trends and proliferate these in other countries, but often we exceed our local incident numbers there too.

Armoured Innovation’s journey began with fulfilling a tremendous need to quell the upsurge of explosives, demolition attacks on ATMs, a crime that escalated worldwide to untenable proportions.

In 2018, our principals worked hard to develop bomb proof exoskeleton designs to thwart this trend.

As with any great development, many design failures taught us hard lessons that served us well, literally as a ‘trial by fire’ which resulted in numerous patents for substantially new materials and methods as a pathway to growth and continuing success.
